Green City Projects is running two sites in Camden that couldn’t be more different. The Greenwood Kitchen Garden is housed on the roof of a brand new building in Kentish Town. Bright and contemporary it enjoys hours of daylight. St Paul’s Woodland Garden, by contrast, is an old, wild, natural space – full of birds and wild plants. What the two gardens do have in common though is that they are works in progress, they are tended with love and they are social venues where people from all walks of life come together. Both spaces are also being developed as multiuse sites, inviting other groups to enjoy them.
