Whenever we have a cooking or baking session in the garden, we often say it is like being on a camping holiday in the middle of Camden. We are under the pergola, round the table, weighing, mixing, passing the flour and the eggs round and we can hear birdsong, the wind in the trees, that are louder than the traffic over on the Camden Road.

We have been busy baking cakes for the London Open Gardens Weekend.

On Wednesday we baked a blueberry and lemon loaf, and a raspberry, almond and polenta cake. We already have a couple of fresh cherry and almond cakes ready to go.

Come along and see our beautiful woodland edge garden in the city, have some tea and cake, sit and and enjoy being amongst the century old trees, the nesting birds and the rambling rose that has just burst into flower.

We are open Sunday 11.30-3.30.

Above is a photo of the rambling rose.
